Jörg Sperling founded Altos Advisors in October 2003 in response to the radical need for business development by high growth new ventures in the exploding broadband market. He serves at the pleasure of promising later stage US companies targeting European customers and channel partners.

Altos Advisors is in constant dialogue with Europe's leading 50 fixed line and wireless carriers but also with OEMs such as Siemens, Alcatel, Nokia and Ericsson.

our name

The name Altos Advisors was chosen because Mr. Sperling enjoyed 8 years right in the heart of Silicon Valley and "Los Altos" is where he lived with wife and three children.

Located 40 miles south of San Francisco, this town is home to hundreds of Silicon Valley business owners, executives, managers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and engineers. With a combined population of 37,000, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills are well known for upscale homes, an attractive climate and friendly shopping areas.

We call ourselves "Advisors" and not "Consultants" because we do not want to be associated with the class of service professionals generating slides and brochures.

We measure our output and successes in revenue generated for our clients and are active advisors to their executives.
